Si.Net currently offers the following features:
- Upgradeable Hardware :
With Si.Net, You will not have to change your box in order to upgrade from 2 zones to 3 or 4 zones.

Enhanced Security:
- Control on the IP and MAC address instead of the IP alone : This gives You a higher level of security in packet filtering;
- Auto regeneration of the firewall rules : If the Firewall rules were completely deleted by an intruder , Si.Net automatically regenerates the last rules implemented, which gives the Firewall a higher availability; and
- Auto defense: Si.Net will Block allowed traffic from an IP , if an attack aimed at the Firewall is generated through that IP .

User Friendly Web Interface with encrypted traffic and username/ password authentication. This gives you easy access to the Si.Net box, through which You can configure, administer and manage your Firewall system.

Built-in Remote Maintenance Procedure that enables our maintenance team to remotely access the Si.Net box in a secure and encrypted way. This Facility minimizes the required time for intervention and the downtime, while maximizing the availability of the system.

Integrated Intrusion Detection System which grants the Si.Net box the following advantages:
- Less alerts : The duplicate alerts of independent Firewall and Intrusion Detection Systems are eliminated with their integration into a Single System;
- Cost effective solution: You are buying one hardware instead of 2; and
- Less cabling since we are using the firewall zones as sensors for the Intrusion Detection System

Easy backup and restore procedures, which allow you to duplicate the firewall configuration on another firewall in case of a hardware failure. This procedure maximizes the availability of your system.
Future additional features:
- Ability to view real time traffic graphically and split it into green, allowed traffic and red, blocked traffic. This feature will allow you to check in a glance the allowed traffic and the blocked traffic and compare them graphically.
- Send the system alerts to a mailbox or to an SMS gateway : We will be able to send specific alerts or system events by mail or to a GSM phone by SMS using an SMS gateway. The Si.Net administrator will be aware of any abnormal event even if he is not able to check the management section of the web interface.
- SNMP enabled box: this feature will allow you to remotely manage the box via SNMP and any SNMP enabled software.
- High availability and Failover systems : We will propose a high availability box, a failover feature and a box integrating the failover and the high availability. Depending on the importance of the network availability, the customer can choose the appropriate option. The high availability box with the failover feature guaranties the maximum availability.
- Integrated Shaping and Caching systems : We will develop built-in modules that will allow the administrator to classify and prioritize the traffic and allocate bandwidth to it (Shaping System). We will also develop built-in modules to cache (Caching System) the Internet traffic, which will reduce the usage of the available bandwidth and maximize the speed of the connection.
- VPN client support : We will integrate a built-in VPN concentrator which will allow the users to connect securely to the network of the company while outside, in a secure way and using VPN client software.
- New action for the firewall rules : A new action for the firewall rules will be introduced to allow the authentication in one of the following mode:
- Static authentication with a database on the firewall
- LDAP
- Radius
- SecurID or ActivCard
